General Hobby is a Pomona CA, company that has been around a while. They have a wide variety of models from a number of vendors including Dynam and LX. The sheer number of models is impressive. Models near the bottom of each category list are often out of stock but their in stock selection is always high.
My experience with these folks is that they offer a wide variety of models at a good price. What they don't do is handle lots of spare parts or offer a lot of advice. That means if you are an experienced modeler you can get some great deals knowing you might have to put your modeling skills to use if some cheap component is damaged or check with other suppliers for parts.
Unlike many online suppliers, General Hobby doesn't deal exclusively in foam planes. You'll also find traditional balsa and ply ARFs all at good prices. I have several flying buddies who swear by this outfit.
